Universal Parks & Resorts has two wonderful properties in the US to visit – one in Orlando and one in Hollywood.

Universal Orlando Resort

Home of three thrilling parks, 7 resort hotels and an entertainment district. There is something here for everyone in the family to enjoy. The two theme parks; Universal Studios & Islands of Adventure are full of characters we know and love. These characters take you on all sorts of adventures. There are several coasters and wild dark rides between both parks to really please the thrill seeker. Kids can enjoy several rides with familiar characters from Dr. Seuss, Harry Potter, Despicable Me, Super Heroes and more! The entertainment has you feeling like a part of the movies and there are Characters to meet and interact with all over each park. I could personally spend an entire day at each Harry Potter land!

Volcano Bay is the newest park at Universal Orlando Resort. It is a water park themed around the parks icon, a giant volcano. Through this volcano you can ride America’s tallest body slide at 125 feet tall. Several other attractions wind around and through the volcano including a water coaster and a wave pool at the base. There is also plenty to do for little ones with a calmer wave pool, a lazy river, and a water play area designed just for them. This park also offers Tapu Tapu. It is a wristband that allows you to wait in line for attractions virtually. More on that later.

This resort has 7 different hotels for you to rest your head at after a day at the parks and the perks for staying at them are great! They are each themed differently and several offer specially themed rooms that children will love, such as a Jurassic Park or a Despicable Me rooms. They vary from Value to Premier and the amount per night along with accommodations & perks vary accordingly. They are all fantastic – comfortable and fun! They each also have restaurants and great places for a quick bite.

Once the parks close, if you are not done for the day, you can head over to City Walk. This entertainment district is full of eateries, clubs, shows, and entertainment. You can have a delicious meal, dance the night away, or catch the Blue man Group. There are also several shops which have everything from boutiques to park merchandise.

Universal Hollywood

Universal Hollywood has attractions that will excite the whole family! From the Super Silly Fun land to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter, kids of all ages will find so many thrilling activities. There are also several shows and character experiences for guests to enjoy. Feel like you are a part of the movies with any of the great rides here – from The Mummy & King Kong to Dispicable Me & Kung Fu Panda.

Universal Hollywood also has CityWalk – a Night Time entertainment district that will keep the party going late into the night. It is three blocks of entertainment, dining, and shopping. If you are looking for a bite to eat, grab a Cheeseburger in Paradise or Bucket of Gumbo from Bubba. There is no shortage of food and snack options here. There are clubs that play music and provide late night entertainment for our older guests. It is a great place to finish off the day!
