Virgin Voyages

The fleet is currently made up of 4 sister ships. Scarlet Lady, Brilliant Lady, Resilient Lady, and Valiant Lady. The layout is fairly identical with the main differences being some different restaurants and night time entertainment. You cannot go wrong with any of the ships.

Booking is simple! Send me an email with what you are looking for. I will help you find the best rate for the perfect cruise that will be ideal for you and your travel party.

OR, check out this link and have a peek for yourself – Virgin Voyages

I am a Gold Tier First Mate accredited with virgin. I cruise regularly to stay updated on everything. This allows me to make the best suggestions and have the most information for my guests.

When you book with me, my services are complimentary. You will have my knowledge, tips, and tricks at your fingertips. Your planning will be as stress-free as possible. And there’s LOOT! Earn up to $300 for your individual sailing. With my referral program, there is UNLIMITED LOOT! More on that here.

What’s Included? They are the most all-inclusive ships at sea. In addition to what you get on most other lines, you will also have free dining at all specialty restaurants, wifi, tips & gratuities, fitness classes, gourmet ice cream, soft drinks & coffee/tea and more!

Dining

  • All restaurants on board accept reservations and they are highly suggested! Guests can reserve at 45 days out, Rockstars can reserve at 60 days out.
  • All sit-down meals can take up to 2 hours so plan accordingly. Shows are typically at 8pm and 10pm and last about an hour so I typically recommend dinners at 7pm or 9pm
  • Gunbae is a Korean Barbecue restaurant where you sit with other guests and play games while your food is cooked table side
  • No buffet! Instead, Virgin features the Galley. It is a made to order cafeteria style eatery with all different cuisines at different stations. You can visit each to order what you like or sit at a table and let the servers come to you
  • ShipEats is Virgin’s room service. There is a $10 fee that can be waived by ordering something for purchase (alcoholic beverage, fresh juice..etc) The fee is waived for Rockstars
  • Allergies? The kitchens are not allergen free but they are incredible at accommodating allergies, aversions, and picky eaters! I can make sure this is noted on your reservation and can speak to sailor services about it for you prior to sailing
  • There are places to snack all over the ship! Pizza, ice cream, asian bowls, greek deliciousness, and more! They have different hours so check them out onboard and make sure to see them all!

Sailor Loot/Bar Tab

What is the difference?! Sailor Loot is good for all things onbaord the ship – Drinks, merch, spa, gambling, and more. It is not good for things you book prior to boarding.

Bar tab is just that. A credit for the bar. It is only good on beverages. If you do not use it, you lose it! TIP: if you have a lot the last day, order bottles to your room via Ship Eats and take them home OR share with a friend.

Packing

You can pack lighter for this cruise line than any other. There is no formal dinner attire. It is very much a “come as you are” environment. Be you, and be comfortable.

Things to consider when packing:

  • Something red for Scarlet Night
  • Jammies for the PJ party
  • Something sparkly/gold for We Fancy
  • Something red/orange/hott for Club Caliente

Embarkation Day

You will receive a time on the app for your boarding time. Unless you are a rockstar or have purchased a special package, they stick pretty tight to that time. If you arrive too early, you will wait outside in the heat so just keep that in mind.

Like other cruise lines, you will give your checked luggage to a porter who will get it on the ship and to your room asap. Unlike other cruise lines, you have the ability to go right to your room. No carting around your carry ons! Keep that in mind when packing.

Once you board, it is your opportunity to book events on the ship. Workout classes, special games, tastings..etc can all be booked once you board. Some have said they are able to connect to ship wifi in the terminal and start booking but most aren’t that lucky. The events do fill up so log in quickly.

Now the ship is yours to explore. There are great food options for lunch at the Galley, the Dock, and the Sun club. Familiarize yourself with the decks so you do not get lost all cruise and locate bathrooms! Sometimes they can be tough to find.

In the early evening, you will want to head to the pool deck. They will have a sailaway party with champagne, music, and it is where you will first meet your happenings cast! They are your entertainment crew for your cruise and they are always great!

I have lots of other great tips and hints but I reserve the best ones for my guests so reach out today. Happy Sailing!
